Google Meet: Multi-task with Picture-in-Picture!
(you can now filter previous editions by application!)
What is it?
- Join a Google Meet call
- Click on the 3 dots > Open picture-in-picture
Now you can still see yourself on screen even when you navigate to other tabs or even applications!
Features
- You can (un)mute, turn off your camera, and end the call directly from the floating tile
- Click on the tile to return back to the original Meet tab

When should I use this?
- Official answer: When you’re presenting another tab or window but still want to be able to see yourself
- Honest answer: When you’re working on something else during a meeting (i.e. in another application) but you still want to be able to quickly unmute yourself and answer questions to seem like you’re paying attention 😉
⌨️ Keyboard shortcut
- CMD/CTRL + D within Google Meet to quickly mute/unmute yourself
