Google Chat: Create a Recurring Do Not Disturb
(you can filter previous issues by application!)

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and there’s nothing I hate more than getting work messages during this sacred time.
Create a recurring DND schedule in Chat
First, head on over to Gmail Settings > Chat and Meet > Manage Chat Settings
Scroll down and create recurring DND schedules so you don’t have to manually select “DND” in Chat everyday:

Pro tip: See if you can get your team onboard with a weekly "Do Not Schedule" time slot on your collective calendars, to protect that time for focused work (Tuesday afternoons for my team)
Bonus: Email everyone in Chat
To quickly email everyone within a group chat, simply navigate to:
- Group > Manage Members > Copy Member emails
