Hey friends - I got a quick (but hopefully super useful) tip for you this week!
Google likes me wayyyy too much
I (obviously) love all of Google’s services - the ones they don’t deprecate after a week anyway 😏 - but even I couldn’t help but notice that every time I sign up for a new Google service or install a new app from Google, I tend to start receiving updates from that new service.
Clingy much?
This brought me down a rabbit hole of seeing just how many Google product mailing lists I was on.
Manage all your emails from Google
I was pleasantly surprised to come across this preferences page in my Google account, where I can toggle off (or on) email communications across different Google Products!
I recommend spending ~30 seconds to toggle off emails you prefer not to receive.
Your future self will thank you 😊
