Google Contacts: Manage your network productively!

(you can filter previous editions by application!)

Context

It sounds weird but I’m a huge fan of Google Contacts; I use it to keep track of my colleagues, friends, and family.

I use it so much that I previously kept it pinned in my Chrome browser along with Gmail, Calendar, and Drive:

Google Contacts <> Gmail

But now, I just use the Google Contacts app within the Gmail Companion bar because I you can add and edit contacts with just 1 click:

You can access Google Contacts from the Gmail Companion Bar
Click the auto-populated contact (if you're in an email thread)
You can add them directly as a Contact
You can also edit their First and Last Names directly

Benefits

If you add someone to Google Contacts, Gmail will auto-complete their email address when you send them an email:

The Google ecosystem is pretty convenient!

This is also a great way to make sure you always receive my newsletters πŸ˜‰
