Simplifying Filters in Google Sheets

Here’s how most people use Filter in Google Sheets:

  • CMD or CTRL + A to highlight all the data
  • Hit the "Create a Filter" icon to start the process

Here’s how I filter in Google Sheets:

  • Right click on the cell with the value you want to filter for > Filter by cell value
💡
Pro tip: Check the bottom-right corner to instantly see how many rows your filter includes

Bonus: Moving files just got easier in Google Drive

The “Move to” function in Google Drive used to be an absolute nightmare.

Now, you can simply click on the file path before moving a file or folder (like wtf took them so long):

⌨️ Keyboard shortcut

  • CMD or CTRL + M in Google Sheets to comment on a cell
