[Workspace] Highlight important information in Docs!

Workspace editions only apply for Google Workspace users (i.e. businesses), and are sent in addition to the regular weekly Productivity Pings

(you can always filter previous editions by application!)

🤔 What is it?

Google Docs now allows you add Code Blocks within Google Docs by typing the “@” symbol:

I am (obviously) not a software engineer so I just use Code Blocks to callout something important in a text-heavy document

Pro tip: If you are a coder, you can add text to code blocks directly by clicking Insert > Building Blocks > Code Block > [select programming language]

Bonus Tip (for Google Chrome)

  • If you want to access Recent Files from Google Drive without actually going into Drive, you can toggle on “Google Drive files” in a New Tab
