✴️ Google Slides: 3 Useful Shortcuts

🤔 What is it?

If you’re presenting in Google Slides:

  1. Press “L” for laser pointer
  2. Press “B” for a black holding slide
  3. Press “W” for a white holding slide

🤷🏻 When should I use this?

If you’re presenting your screen and another colleague wants to quickly take over and present something relevant, you can just press “B” or “W” to immediately go to a holding slide so the audience aren’t distracted by 2 different presentations

This way you also don’t need to exit out from your presentation and lose track of which slide you were on

Using a laser pointer is especially useful if there are a lot of content on the slide and you want to focus your audiences’ attention on a specific section of the slide
