[Workspace] Reduce Workload by Using Templates!

Workspace editions only apply for Google Workspace users (i.e. businesses), and are sent in addition to the regular weekly Productivity Pings

(you can always filter previous issues by application!)

Making Copies vs. Templates

If you’ve watched my Top Productivity Tips at Work videos, you know I’m a huge fan of making copies of colleagues’ documents and using them in my own work (after giving credit of course 😉).

But for instances where I want to stay 100% on brand (e.g. for external presentations), I usually pick an “official” template in Google Slides and Google Forms:

Submit your own Templates

A great way to suck up, sorry I mean stand out, at work is to add value, and what better way to submit your own designs as templates?

First, go to the Google Forms Template Gallery, then click “Submit template”

For example, this is a form I created for internal workshops, and have since submitted into the template gallery:

Note: If you don’t see these features, you need to contact your Google Workspace admin to enable them in the backend
