[Workspace] Draft Calendar events in Docs

Workspace editions only apply for Google Workspace users (i.e. businesses), and are sent in addition to the regular weekly Productivity Pings

(you can always filter previous issues by application!)

Calendar events are easy…or is it?

99.9% of the time, I don’t need anyone telling me how to send calendar invitations in Google Calendar.

We would use the same doc to align on talking points and order of presentation:

Once everything is finalized, click the calendar 📆 icon to create the event in Google Calendar!

💡
Note: Unfortunately hyperlinks currently do not work in event drafts. Hopefully Google fixes this soon!

⌨️ Keyboard shortcut

  • Type “@heading” to quickly add section headers. Don’t forget you can change default fonts for headings as well (instruction in previous issue)
