If you're anything like me, you HATE writing performance reviews. It is SUCH a waste of time. You’re basically reconstructing the past X months of accomplishments from memory and you have to “spin” it in a way that makes it seem like you’re the savior of the company.
Side-note: When I left Google earlier this year I made a copy of all my past performance reviews (something you’re supposed to do) and reading through them was cringe as f***.

Here's what usually happens when it's time to write my self-review:

Step 3: Review the draft and make edits. Gemini pulls specifics directly from your actual correspondence, so you're starting with real data instead of fuzzy memories.
Instead of spending an entire afternoon reconstructing your own accomplishments, you get a first draft with specifics already filled in. The numbers, the project names, the timelines... all sourced from your own work history.
