Google Gemini: Mind-Blowing Trick to Learn Faster with AI

(you can easily filter previous issues by application!)

Hey friends, I'm about to share something that completely blew my mind, and I'm hoping it'll do the same for you.

What you're looking at is a fully functional (and genuinely educational) game I created using just three ingredients:

  1. Google Gemini 2.5
  2. An academic paper
  3. A single well-crafted prompt

Turning a White Paper into a Game

While preparing for my latest AI Agents video, I found myself slogging through this lengthy and rather technical white paper on AI Agents. About halfway through my first read, I caught myself re-reading the same sentence for the fifth time.

That's when I had an idea: what if I asked Gemini to create an interactive game to help speed up my learning and make the process less mind-numbing?

The result exceeded my expectations completely.

Gemini didn't just create a functioning game on its first attempt – it designed one that cleverly tested my knowledge on key concepts from the white paper, transforming a dry reading experience into an engaging learning activity.

Try it out yourself

  1. Start a new chat using the "2.5 Pro (experimental)" model (this feature requires a paid Gemini subscription)
  2. Upload your academic paper of choice (like the AI Agents white paper)
  3. Enable the "Canvas" feature
  4. Copy and paste this specific prompt:

Turn this paper into an interactive fun game, make sure the game mechanics are both fun and reflect key points from the attached paper. Keep these in mind to make the game as enjoyable, engaging, and interactive as possible:

  • The player feels a sense of achievement as they progress
  • There's a storyline
  • There are cool and interactive graphics.

Gemini will take 2-3 minutes to "develop" your game (you'll actually see it thinking through the process). Once the game is ready, you can even refine it with follow-up instructions like "Add a back button" or "Summarize the tested topic in detail after each question.”

Give it a try with your next challenging read – your brain (and attention span) will thank you!
