## 🤔 What is it?

- You can enable the **Host Management** setting directly in the Google Calendar invite (aka before the meeting even starts) to avoid potential issues during the meeting
- Previously, you could only enable this setting **after** the meeting had already started in Google Meet (leading to an awkward silence where the host is wasting everyone’s time)

## 🤷🏻 When should I use this?

1. By default, Google Meet allows all participants to share their screen and send messages
2. If you’re giving a formal presentation and want to make sure only select people (i.e. the presenters) can share their screens, you can enable **Host Management** directly from the Google Calendar invite to avoid an audience member presenting their screen by mistake (trust me, it happens)
