# Create Gmail Template from Docs!

## 🤔 What is it?

- In Google Docs, you can now type “@” (without the quotation marks) and select “Email Draft” to draft an email directly from Docs
- When you’re done, click the large icon to port everything over to Gmail

## 🤷🏻 When would I use this?

- Even though you might be responsible for the email, there are times when you might need others’ input and feedback. They can add comments and/or make changes directly within Google Docs and once everything is finalized, you can send the email instead of copy and pasting different fields over

- Press “N” within Google Drive to rename Google Docs (or any file for that matter!)
