# Google Docs: Stay Organized with Toggles

## 🤔 What is it?

If you’ve watched any of my Notion videos, you know I like to use the **Toggle** feature to keep pages neat and tidy:

After literally years of waiting, we finally get to do this in Google Docs as well:

## 📸 Instructions

Unfortunately, there’s a huge caveat to using this feature in Google Docs: **Toggles** can only be enabled in “Pageless mode” (I have no idea why this is the case).

### To enable Pageless mode

- File > Page Setup > Pageless > Ok

### Creating toggles

Now whenever you create a heading (”@heading 1/2/3”), you will see a little toggle icon to the left, and all content below that heading can be collapsed with a single click!
