# [Workspace] Text Expander comes to Google Docs!

## Weekly Snippets

Every week, I’m responsible for sending a business update to my manager that looks something like this:

> Drove 550 new sign-ups for the Google Ads course on WeChat through paid media channels, representing a 11% WoW increase and US$ 4M in touched revenue

And if you’ve worked in large corporations, you know leadership absolutely **LOVES** to see "quantifiable business impact" and they all follow the exact same structure:

#### The X-Y-Z structure

- Accomplished ****X** as measured by ****Y**, by doing ****Z**

## Enter Custom Building Blocks

As a reminder for myself to follow the same “quantifiable business impact” structure every time, I have this snippet saved in Google Docs:

## 📸 Instructions

Step 1 - Identify a piece of content you have to repeatedly refer back to

Step 2 - Highlight said content > right click > Save as custom block

Step 3 - After naming the custom block, insert said block by typing “@” followed by the name
