# Google Calendar: Unleash the power of Custom Views

## Create a Custom View in Google Calendar

For the longest time, I’ve enjoyed the **4-day view** in Google Calendar (especially on smaller 13’ laptop screens):

Now that I’m using a 16’ laptop screen (with 32’ external monitors in the office), I’ve changed my Custom View to show a **5-day view**:

And guess what? Under **Settings > View Options**, you can change the custom view to any range from 2 days all the way to 4 weeks!

Whatever you pick will end up becoming an option in the top right-hand corner of your main Google Calendar page!

## ⌨️ Keyboard shortcut

- Press “x” in Google Calendar to bring up your own custom view
